Status: Contractual

Schedule: Full Time Flexible (based on program and supervision needs)
Reports To: Clinical Director| Leadership
Supervises: Therapists and Interns
WORK SCHEDULE: Clinical Supervisor sets his/her own schedule contingent upon the needs of services for the program.
BGTPS is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Certified Supervisor within our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic.
This is not a passive role. We are looking for a clinician who can lead, guide, and hold the clinical standard, someone who is confident in compliance, strong in mentorship, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
You will play a key role in clinical oversight, staff development, and ensuring services align with COMAR and best practice standards.
SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and quality assurance of clinical services provided to include the training and supervision of clinicians/interns as well as to collaborate with the leadership team. This position will also come with a small case load.
QUALITY OF DOCUMENTATION:
Provide reinforcement of documentation/service standards assisting with compliance and clinical concerns as needed
Review and sign documentation of supervises to ensure services are being delivered in accordance with treatment plan
Ensure ITPs are developed, reviewed and signed as needed
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise licensed clinicians and/or student interns working in the program
Review and sign assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries and incident reports
Conduct periodic quality reviews of medical records
Identify the training needs of team members and ensure that they receive documented training
Respond to clinical emergencies and assist staff with crisis management
Ensure staff comply with program policies and procedures
Provide individual and group supervision
Attend Leadership and team meeting
Periodically conduct client evaluations
Maintain a small caseload of clients
Assist with programming and operations
Clinical Oversight & Supervision
Provide individual and group supervision to licensed clinicians and interns
Review and approve assessments, treatment plans (ITPs), progress notes, discharge summaries, and incident reports
Ensure services are delivered in alignment with treatment plans and clinical standards
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Conduct regular medical record audits to ensure compliance with COMAR regulations
Reinforce documentation standards and address clinical or compliance concerns proactively
Ensure treatment plans are developed, reviewed, and signed within required timeframes
Training & Staff Development
Identify training needs and support ongoing professional development
Provide coaching, feedback, and corrective guidance when needed
Support onboarding and clinical growth of new staff and interns
Program Support & Leadership
Respond to clinical crises and support staff with crisis management
Participate in leadership and multidisciplinary team meetings
Assist with program development, workflow improvements, and service delivery enhancements
Conduct periodic client evaluations and case consultations
Maintain a small clinical caseload
LEVEL OF EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters Degree
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
LCSW-C in the state of Maryland
Board approved supervisor LCSW-C
