SUMMARY

 

The CADD Manager is responsible for the management of Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions CADD services.  The scope of the job includes team management, technical support, trouble shooting, project/ solution development, administration, process improvement, reporting, and concerned party liaison.

 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Manage a team which may include CAD technicians, CADD analysts, designers, space planners and others responsible for delivering CADD services and projects ensuring that delivery is undertaken optimally and within Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions /Client procedural boundaries
  • Provide direct support to the team with respect to service delivery, technical issues and administrative issues and challenges; monitor and support the preparation and execution of plans, schedules, budgets of all projects; strive for 100% team member satisfaction through effective administration and provision of tools and support
  • Manage and assign resources as required to meet schedule, budget and technical needs; actively seek additional services to benefit the client and Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions; strive to ensure that projects are started with adequate lead time to complete within client time parameters and to meet Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions and team needs with respect to work-loading and overall financial considerations
  • Provide reporting required to support Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions and client needs with respect to execution
  • Ensure processes are in place and operating to ensure consistency, repeatability and alignment with Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions/Client needs with respect to key delivery sub processes such as: drawing management, specification writing, manuals, report writing, needs analysis etc.
  • Through technical, organizational and process methods constantly facilitate continuous improvement that seeks to maximize benefit to our clients, better coordinate with facility management, and to optimize delivery of services
  • Effective and proactive communication with concerned parties such as clients, contractors, and industry bodies (as required) to ensure client satisfaction and Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions success
  • Effective facilitation of the resolution of escalated issues and challenges that include concerned parties
  • Acting in the role of Senior CADD Analyst as required
  • Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

 

  • Community college diploma or equivalent training (e.g. RPA, CET)
  • More than five years up to ten years’ experience
  • Ability to integrate the knowledge of the operational principles for the discipline being supported into serviceable solutions
  • Proactive and self-driven 
  • Superior people management skills
  • Superior client management skills 
  • Demonstrated experience in design, implementation and set up of large scale CADD systems, including FM software
  • Proficient in use of e-mail, MS Office and Windows
  • Estimating skills including project related and workforce related - critical
  • Knowledge and experience related to industry standards 
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills,

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

  • None required

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $63,397 - $79,246  per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
