Pay: $42,000–$45,000 Annually
Schedule: Primarily daylight hours with occasional evenings and weekends for events

Position Summary

The Advancement Coordinator supports fundraising, donor engagement, volunteer management, community partnerships, grant administration, and special events that advance the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania. This role works closely with the Advancement team to create meaningful experiences for donors, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners while helping to secure resources that support youth and families throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support fundraising, donor engagement, and resource development initiatives.
  • Coordinate fundraising events from planning through execution, including logistics, vendors, communications, and event-day support.
  • Assist with donor stewardship activities, sponsorship fulfillment, and community engagement efforts.
  • Recruit, coordinate, and support volunteers for events and organizational initiatives.
  • Support grant administration activities including reporting and outcome tracking.
  • Coordinate in-kind donations and maintain appropriate donor records and acknowledgments.
  • Maintain accurate data and records within CRM and fundraising systems.
  • Collaborate with staff, donors, sponsors, board members, volunteers, vendors, and community partners to advance organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, event management, hospitality, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • One to three years of experience in event planning, fundraising, project coordination, community engagement, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working in a nonprofit environment preferred.
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Required Clearances

CPR/Pediatric First Aid, Child Abuse Clearance, PA Criminal History, FBI Clearance, NSOR Certificate, TB Test, Mandated Reporter Training, and other required certifications must be obtained upon hire or within established timelines.
