Position Overview
The BI (Business Intelligence) Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions to support internal operations and client-facing insights. This role plays a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making across departments by transforming raw data into actionable dashboards and reports.
The position is remote in Pakistan and with working hours 4:30am ET to 1:00pm ET or similar schedule.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy BI solutions such as dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Transform raw data from various sources into structured, meaningful datasets for business use
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather and translate business needs into technical requirements
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, aggregation, and reporting
- Support ETL processes and data warehousing efforts to ensure reliable data pipelines
- Create documentation for solutions and conduct training for internal users
- Maintain data integrity and conduct QA to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports
- Support ad hoc reporting and analysis needs across business units
- Stay current with BI trends, tools, and best practices to recommend continuous improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in a BI Developer, Data Analyst, or similar role—agency or healthcare/pharmaceutical experience is a plus
- Strong hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, etc.)
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, SQL Server)
- Experience supporting ETL processes using tools like Alteryx, Informatica, or dbt
- Solid understanding of data modeling, reporting structures, and visualization best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Salary Range: PKR 5,000,000 - 8,000,000
