This is a hybrid position based in Ogden, Utah. Candidates must be able to work onsite in our Ogden office a minimum of 4 days per week, with occasional travel to our Salt Lake City office as needed.

We're looking for a Total Rewards Analyst to partner closely with the Director of Total Rewards and play a key role in shaping compensation strategy, workforce planning, employee experience, and business performance through data-driven insights. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to influence decisions across the organization by transforming workforce data into meaningful recommendations. You'll work at the intersection of analytics, technology, and people strategy, helping leaders make informed decisions that impact employees and business outcomes. Essential Functions
- Develop analytics and insights that support compensation, benefits, workforce planning, and talent strategies.
- Support compensation analysis, market pricing, pay equity reviews, benefits program evaluation, and rewards program effectiveness.
- Partner with the Total Rewards team to analyze benefits utilization, enrollment trends, plan performance, and employee participation metrics.
- Analyze workforce trends including turnover, retention, hiring, promotions, and organizational effectiveness.
- Assist with annual benefits planning, forecasting, and budget management by providing data analysis and reporting that supports informed decision-making.
- Support 401(k) plan administration and annual audit activities, including data collection, reconciliation, testing support, vendor coordination, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain reporting and analytics related to healthcare costs, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, leave programs, and other employee benefit offerings.
- Transform data into compelling stories and recommendations by building dashboards, reports, and visualizations that help leaders make data-driven decisions.
- Develop and maintain key People and Total Rewards metrics and dashboards that provide leadership visibility into workforce health, organizational trends, benefits program performance, and compensation effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve processes through technology and AI-enabled tools.
- Deliver timely workforce insights and customized analyses that support business leaders, People Team initiatives, and strategic decision-making.
- Assist in creating and maintaining accurate HR and benefits records for audit, compliance, and reporting purposes.
- Support data governance, confidentiality, and security protocols related to employee, compensation, and benefits information.
- Support and participate in company, department, and safety policies, procedures, programs, and activities.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in analytics, workforce reporting, HRIS, HR operations, compensation, finance, or related analytical roles.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Office, etc.).
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of HR metrics, practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey findings effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data analysis.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR data appropriately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI tools and automation technologies.
- Familiarity with HCM systems and databases. Proficiency in Workday is a plus.
