Rota Housekeeper required for a UHNW household in Chelsea

This is a long-term role within a fully staffed, relatively informal young family household. The successful candidate will work on a rota with one other Housekeeper, sharing responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running and presentation of the residence.

The household is looking for someone with a naturally caring, proactive, and supportive nature — someone who genuinely enjoys looking after a home and the people within it. As the Principal is expecting a baby, they are particularly seeking a Housekeeper who is attentive, thoughtful, calm, and naturally helpful in their approach.

This role would suit someone who takes pride in creating an organised, peaceful, and beautifully maintained home, and who notices what needs to be done without requiring constant direction.

The family also has a dog, so the successful candidate must be comfortable around dogs and happy to assist with occasional dog walking when required.

• Full housekeeping to a very high standard
  
• Laundry, ironing, pressing, and wardrobe organisation
  
• Maintaining clean, organised, and beautifully presented living spaces
  
• Supporting the day-to-day organisation and smooth running of the home
  
• Occasional simple meal preparation or light service support when required
  
• Providing thoughtful and practical support around the Principal when needed
  
• Assisting with the family dog, including occasional dog walking
  
• Working collaboratively and respectfully with the other Housekeeper
  
• Maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times
  

• 5 days per week
  
• Maximum 45 working hours per week
  
• Rotational shifts with the other Housekeeper
  
• Example shift patterns may include:
  
  • 7:30am – 4:30pm
    
  • 1:00pm – 10:00pm
    

Flexibility is required, as weekend cover will form part of the rota system.
