We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and highly organized Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to be the welcoming face of our practice. What You'll Do

Create Outstanding Patient Experiences

  • Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer questions about hearing healthcare services and solutions
  • Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families
  • Ensure every patient feels welcomed, valued, and cared for

Support a Thriving Practice

  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Manage and coordinate provider schedules
  • Keep daily operations running smoothly and efficiently
  • Identify opportunities to improve patient flow and satisfaction

Administrative & Financial Responsibilities

  • Check patients in and out
  • Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Process insurance information and benefit verification
  • Maintain patient charts and documentation
  • Track inventory, hearing aid orders, and repairs
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting

Help Grow the Practice

  • Conduct patient retention and recall activities
  • Support community outreach and grassroots marketing efforts
  • Track marketing inquiries and referral sources
  • Assist with educational events and patient engagement initiatives

Position Details

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule:

  • 2-3 days a week - Must work Tuesdays and Fridays, additional day to be agreed upon with hiring manager.
  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • 24 hours per week
  • No evenings or weekends

Location: Hemet, California

Compensation: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour

  • Pay based on experience and qualifications
  • Monthly bonus opportunities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and prospective patients
  • Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
  • Conduct patient retention and follow-up calls
  • Check patients in and out of appointments
  • Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Process insurance claims and benefit verification
  • Coordinate hearing aid orders, repairs, and inventory
  • Maintain patient charts and electronic records
  • Prepare reports and respond to home office requests
  • Assist with marketing, physician outreach, and patient education initiatives
  • Open and close the office daily
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area
  • Support training of front-office staff when needed

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 10 years of medical office, healthcare administration, or patient coordination experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Front desk medical office experience
  • Strong computer and technology skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Preferred

  • Hearing healthcare, audiology, ENT, or medical specialty practice experience
  • Insurance verification and claims processing experience
  • Experience working with EMR systems and scheduling software
  • Sales, patient retention, or treatment acceptance experience
