Job Summary:
The Family and Individual Support Service Director oversees and is responsible for the administrative, clinical and programmatic development, implementation and integrity of community based programs serving adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Acquired Brain Injury. The Service Director also oversees the Behavioral Services Program for the division. As a key member of the senior management team, the Service Director contributes to Bay Cove’s mission by working to facilitate the development of policies, procedures, training, etc. that promote dignity, safety, skill development, and an improved quality of life for people served by Developmental Services.
This is an exempt position.

Essential Functions of the Position:

Ensures program integrity and contributes to industry standards.

Implements all aspects of the division's Quality Management Plan.

Assumes major responsibility for various clinical, administrative, and programmatic tasks within the Division.

Provides clinical supervision to the Behavioral Services team.

Provides administrative on call services on a routinely scheduled basis.

Provides for relevant and ongoing staff development and training.

Provides support and supervision to Senior Program and Program Directors and staff as assigned

Responsible for ensuring and overseeing that all clinical, programmatic, administrative, and fiscal aspects of assigned programs remain correct, current, and compliant with state agency standards.

Oversees compliance with all DDS, DESE, DMA, MassAbility, and DPH licensing/regulations, in addition to other required documentation and regulatory standards (iCMS, HUD related reports).

Provides emergency back up to program staff on a regularly scheduled basis.

Works on program and division planning, development, and policy issues in coordination with the Vice President. .

Oversees the student program for undergraduate and graduate level interns.
Requirements for the Position:
-
Master's degree in related field. Clinical License in related field preferred.

Minimally 10 years experience working with adults with disabilities and/or developmental disabilities.

Minimally 10 years supervisory and demonstrated leadership experience.

Excellent writing and oral communication skills.

Valid Driver’s license

Use of personal cellular telephone for work communication.

Pay Rate:$128-130 annual salary

KEY PROGRAMS INCLUDE:
Community residential and day programs for people with developmental disabilities, including those with high-risk medical and psychiatric needs.
Adult Community Clinical Services for people with serious mental illness, featuring community residential programs, employment services, case management, clubhouse, and peer support services.
Congregate and transitional housing for formerly homeless seniors, and a day shelter for homeless seniors.
Comprehensive addiction treatment programs: detoxification, clinical stabilization, short and long-term residential treatment, and an outpatient methadone clinic.
Homelessness/addiction programs: an overnight shelter, seasonal warming center, street outreach team, and supported housing with in-reach services for chronically homeless adults.
Behavioral Health Integration services: a state-funded Community Behavioral Health Clinic and two federally funded Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (in Boston and Cape Cod), integrating substance use and mental health services.
Community Partner and Health Home services for people with serious mental illness or long-term support needs, aiming to improve health outcomes through integrated healthcare and behavioral healthcare services.
Early Intervention Program promoting optimal development for children under three who are developmentally delayed, have a known disabling condition, or are at risk due to biological or environmental factors.
