Lead IT Administrator
About this role
What we're looking for:
We need someone with 5-15 years of experience in IT administration who has owned end-to-end IT infrastructure at a high-growth startup (ideally 50-300 employees). You should be comfortable in a fast-paced, in-person environment and have a track record of building scalable IT systems rather than just maintaining them. Bonus points if you have a technical degree (CS, physics, math) and actively use AI to automate repetitive IT work.
What you'll do:
Own all identity, access controls, and employee lifecycle systems across the company (Google Workspace, Okta, all SaaS applications)
Take ownership of a Mac-first endpoint environment end-to-end — MDM, security baselines, patching, and device compliance
Build automated onboarding and offboarding workflows that provision new employees in minutes
Own corporate security fundamentals including endpoint security, access controls, and SOC 2/ISO 27001 audit readiness
Manage and rationalize the company's SaaS stack — provisioning, licensing, and vendor lifecycle management
Use AI tools and build custom automations to eliminate repetitive IT tasks and scale operations without adding headcount
Run day-to-day IT operations across identity, devices, networking, and office infrastructure — troubleshooting and resolving issues directly
