Main Accountabilities
We are looking for a Customer Service Engineer to support Barco’s Diagnostic & Imaging business, with a strong focus on radiology environments and medical display systems.
This role involves installation, maintenance, repair of diagnostic monitors, and delivering high-quality technical support to customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Review site specifications and prepare installation plans for diagnostic imaging solutions and medical monitors.
- Install and commission systems ensuring high customer satisfaction and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to certified dealers and assist in installations.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diagnostic monitors and imaging systems.
- Report customer feedback and discrepancies to support product improvement.
- Perform onsite demonstrations and preventive maintenance in radiology environments.
- Maintain service reports and escalate unresolved customer issues.
- Build strong customer relationships through regular communication and visits.
- Provide technical support across the organisation.
- Support sales activities, demonstrations, and trade shows.
Required Education, Experience & Competencies
Education:
- Technical Bachelor, or higher, or equivalent through experience
Experience:
- 4–7 years
Competencies (Must Have):
- Ability to schedule and perform assignments independently
- Strong communication skills and customer orientation
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
