We are currently seeking a motivated and hands-on Venue Team Leader to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional looking to further develop their leadership skills, or an aspiring leader ready to take the next step in their career.
About the Role
This is a true operational leadership role where no two days are the same. Working alongside the Venue Manager and fellow Team Leaders, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring exceptional customer service, safe operations and high presentation standards across all areas.
Unlike larger hospitality venues where leadership roles may focus on a single department, this position provides exposure across the entire venue, including food and beverage, gaming, bar and kitchen operations.
You will be responsible for opening and closing the venue, leading shifts, supporting team development and ensuring compliance with all operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support venue operations during your shift
- Deliver and promote exceptional customer service standards
- Supervise, coach and develop team members
- Support daily operations across food and beverage, bar, gaming and kitchen areas
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Complete operational, shift and incident reporting as required
- Ensure compliance with Club procedures and legislative requirements
- Maintain a safe and positive working environment
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the venue
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous hospitality leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience opening and closing hospitality venues
- Strong operational knowledge across food and beverage, bar and gaming environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A hands-on leadership style with a positive, team-focused attitude
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
- Current RSA, RCG, and ARCG Competency Card
