  • Use excellent communication and active listening skills to learn about the customer’s financial needs. Establish trust, optimize sales opportunities, generate leads, recommend appropriate solutions, and provide quality customer service.
  • Utilize strong understanding of sales and financial services to offer creative solutions, viable financial alternatives, and tailored product and service recommendations based on customers’ current and future needs.
  • Identify lending opportunities (both personal and business) with new and existing clients, including but not limited to Mortgage, Small Business, and Commercial loans.
  • Drive fee-based revenue by cross-selling the bank’s products and services, such as Treasury Management Solutions. Maximize fee income through effective needs-based selling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients by providing personalized financial advice, regular portfolio reviews, and proactive solutions to their banking needs.
  • Continuously learns to expand one’s knowledge of features and benefits of deposit, loan, TMS, and Digital Banking products and services; to become a trusted advisor and subject matter expert whom customers can depend on.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve deposit, loan, and fee income objectives. Monitor and analyze sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary to ensure targets are met.
  • Conduct outbound sales activities (e.g., phone outreach, community events, meeting with local businesses) to establish visibility in the community, develop a networking presence, and generate more branch business.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and branch sales and service targets through recommendations of new and existing products and services, sales referrals, cross-selling, and up-selling in a results-driven environment, providing a great experience to every customer.
  • Collaborates with business partners within the Bank to assist customers with specialized or complex financial needs, and to retain and expand profitable relationships.
  • Translate goals and expectations into specific executable, weekly and monthly sales activities to meet or exceed individual assigned goals.
  • Partake in overall branch efforts as a high-level team player, providing banking expertise and support in various banking duties.
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients, ensuring their banking experience is seamless and outstanding. Handle client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide timely follow-up on all transactions and requests.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to operational integrity, policies, procedures, and banking regulations to ensure compliance and training requirements are met, maintaining ethical behavior, and gaining credibility with staff and customers.
  • Complies with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and controls to minimize risk exposures, and be compliant with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Assists in training new colleagues, ensuring compliance with bank policies, regulations, and client relationship deepening best practices.
  • Work with Ops staff for teller-line referral.

 

Job Qualifications/Requirements

Prior Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or sales, preferably in a relationship management or personal banking role.

Skill

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in deposits, loans, and fee income.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to analyze financial information and make sound recommendations.
  • Possess a strong drive to become a top performer and stay resilient to produce top of the line results.
  • Organized and well planned to stay efficient and follow through when closing sales.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to successfully meet team objectives while maintaining high levels of individual performance.
  • Customer service focus with experience in handling complex transactions across multiple systems
  • Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention.
  • Actively participate in branch duties with a strong sense of teamwork.
  •  Language requirements: English, Korean a plus.

 

The salary range for this full-time position is $23.56 Hourly - $24.04 Hourly + bonus + benefits 

Salary ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location.
