IT Lead Technical Analyst - Development Support

We are seeking a Lead Technical Analyst to support Bank of Hope by translating business needs into effective technology solutions. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and successfully delivered. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with enterprise applications and system integrations, and the ability to drive successful project delivery across cross-functional teams.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and use cases
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA teams for solution delivery
- Ensure alignment between business needs and platform capabilities
- Create, review, and validate BRDs, user stories, and functional requirements documents, ensuring business needs are accurately translated into solution requirements.
- Support project planning, prioritization, and backlog management
- Drive process improvements and establish BA standards and governance
- Assist in UAT planning and ensure requirements traceability
- Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for input into application activities.
- Interact with subject matter experts, application development, implementation support and production support staff to define functional specifications that meet user requirements.
- End to end ownership on all testing related lifecycle activities.
- Prepare Training guide presentation, user guide manual on need basis.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in Business Analysis or related roles
- Strong experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-documenting skills + Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization, developers, PMs, Architects, Vendors and with Clients.
- Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Office suite
- Ability to understand technical architecture and system integrations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across business and IT teams
- Experience in banking or financial services is a plus
- Knowledge of platforms like CRM and SharePoint is an added advantage
The salary range for this full-time position is $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
Salary ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location.
