About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Financial Advisor to join our Wealth Management team. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and investment guidance to clients while developing, managing, and growing long-term client relationships through the Bank’s wealth program. The Wealth Advisor will partner closely with branch staff and business partners to deliver personalized financial solutions and expand the Bank’s presence in the communities it serves.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of wealth management clients through referrals, business development, and existing client relationships.
  • Meet with clients to assess financial goals, risk tolerance, and overall financial needs, and develop customized financial strategies.
  • Provide guidance on investments, retirement planning, insurance, education funding, tax considerations, estate planning, and other wealth management solutions.
  • Monitor client portfolios and conduct regular reviews, providing ongoing recommendations based on changing needs and market conditions.
  • Build and maintain strong referral relationships with branch staff, lenders, and other internal business partners.
  • Represent the Bank through client meetings, seminars, community outreach, and financial education events.
  • Maintain accurate client records, CRM documentation, and activity tracking in accordance with program requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Bank policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Stay current on financial markets, investment products, and industry trends.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in wealth management, financial advising, investment services, banking, insurance, or related client-facing financial services role.
  • Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or Series 7 with Series 63 and Series 65 required.
  • Professional designations such as CFP®, ChFC®, CRPC®, AAMS®, CIMA®, CPFA®, CFA®, or similar preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, investment management, retirement planning, insurance, tax and estate concepts, and wealth management solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build client relationships, generate new business, and develop referral partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple client relationships.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
