About the Role:

As a Credit Analyst, your main responsibility will be to assess the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses applying for loans. You will analyze financial data, review loan documentation, and evaluate the overall credit risk. By conducting thorough credit analysis, you will help the organization make informed decisions regarding loan approvals and terms. Your expertise in credit management and financial statement analysis will be crucial in identifying potential risks and ensuring the organization's loan portfolio remains healthy. Ultimately, your role will contribute to the organization's financial stability and growth.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes complex financial standing of customers and prospects.
  • Forecasts trends based on detailed financial and industry data.
  • Uses a variety of source material including outside analyst's reports to analyze and recommend courses of action with regard to a customer's credit portfolio.
  • Identify potential problems and/or weaknesses of a company by virtue of a high level of analytical expertise in examining spreads.
  • Assures compliance with loan conditions, collateral and financial covenant requirements.
  • Utilizes and maintains a tracking system.
  • Maintains customer files, covenant compliance records and other required internal records.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting is required.
  • Previous credit experience is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to change.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (primarily Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • Ability to assume responsibility, excellent problems solving skills and exercise good judgment making decisions.

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $45,000.00- $55,000.00/year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, compensation may include bonuses, benefits, and other incentives.
