About the Role
As a Building Services Specialist at Bank of Springfield, you will play a vital role in maintaining the functionality, safety, and appearance of our facilities. This hands-on position supports multiple locations and is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in general building maintenance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical, heating, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Prioritize and manage multiple maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain records for BOS equipment, including vehicles, using basic computer programs (e.g., Excel, Word).
- Evaluate repair needs and coordinate with outside vendors to ensure quality service delivery.
- Purchase parts and supplies as directed and maintain inventory of tools and materials.
- Perform grounds maintenance based on seasonal needs not covered by vendors.
- Assist with environmental and facility-related tasks such as moving furniture, deliveries, and unloading materials.
- Respond to maintenance emergencies and travel to all BOS branch locations as needed.
- Model BOS values and act with integrity in all interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of building maintenance experience (including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and snow removal).
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no violations within the past five years).
- Ability to pass background and security checks.
- Ability to operate machinery and lift 50+ pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $35,000 - $50,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, compensation may include bonuses, benefits, and other incentives.
