Essential Duties:

  • Plan and execute initiatives and programs that support business objectives.
  • Coordination of communication between Troon/ICON and Owners.
  • Manage key employee staffing and organization including monitoring and making recommendations on the performance levels of key management personnel.
  • Implement key companywide change initiatives to drive our vision and culture.
  • Recommend and implement strategic changes in operations.
  • Assistance in new business development opportunities.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Director of Lifestyle and Director of Wellness. Develop and train club, lifestyle and amenity leaders.
  • Oversight of clubhouses, fitness, pools, restaurants, recreation, racquet facilities, event spaces and other amenities.
  • Developing and elevating programming, events and experiences that drive resident engagement, connection and satisfaction.
  • Evaluating amenity utilization, developing operational standards, and partnering with developers and boards on new amenity planning and enhancements.
  • Accountability for resort/amenity budgets, staffing models, cost controls, revenue opportunities and capital planning.
  • Establishing a hospitality-first culture, service standards and training programs across our communities.
  • Serving as a strategic resource to developers, boards and clients on resort and lifestyle operations.
  • Creating scalable best practices, leveraging technology and benchmarking performance across communities.
  • Implement Troon standards to ensure profitability.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

In addition to the performance of essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions to be solely determined by the Executive Vice President of Operations based on the needs of the business:

  • Attend staff meetings.
  • Attend unemployment hearings or judicial reviews for associates at the property level
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field as well as experience in property, hotel or club management.
  • CAM License Preferred

Physical Demands:

May be required to travel extensively and work flexible hours.
