As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for

  • Performing TIG welding operations in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Work Instructions (WI), engineering drawings, and repair documentation.

  • Executing welding and repair activities while ensuring compliance with customer and company quality requirements.

  • Reading and interpret technical drawings, specifications, repair instructions, and process documentation.

  • Inspecting completed work to ensure conformity with quality standards and acceptance criteria.

  • Supporting inspection, repair, and restoration activities on industrial components.

  • Maintaining accurate production and quality records.

  • Ensuring work is completed within established productivity and turnaround time targets.

  • Following instructions provided by supervisors and support the achievement of operational priorities.

  • Assisting colleagues and contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment.

  • Supporting cross-functional activities when required and demonstrate flexibility across different operational areas.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Technical Diploma, Vocational Training Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Welding, Mechanical Maintenance, or a related technical field.

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of TIG welding experience in an industrial environment

  • Have experience within the Gas Turbine, Power Generation, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, or Heavy Industrial sector is highly preferred.

  • Have experience in component repair and service operations is considered a strong advantage.

  • Have relevant welding certifications are preferred.

  • Have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

  • Have strong attention to detail and workmanship

  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
