Role: | Surf Instructor |
Location: | Bahrain Surf Park, Bilaj Al Jazayer |
Reporting to: | Head of Surf Instructors |

Our Vision at Bahrain Surf Park is to bring surfing to the nation, and
develop passion for health, wellbeing and fun through Waves for All. We will attract visitors from all continents,
growing Bahrain’s surf and beach culture, and act as a catalyst to establish
Bahrain not only as the Premier Surf Destination of the Middle East, but as a
leading destination for fun - with Water, Waves and Surfing at our core.

through safe fun activities for all backgrounds, abilities and generations, now
and into the future.
ü Valid surf instructor certification (ISA Level 1
or national equivalent required; higher levels preferred) ü Valid First Aid and Surf
Rescue certification (ILS, SLSGB, SLSA or equivalent) | |
Experience | ü Proven
experience as a surf coach or instructor, ideally in a wave pool or
structured surf school environment ü Experience in
a leisure resort, surf resort or hospitality setting is a plus ü Experience or
familiarity with Middle East environment and
culture is a plus ü Previous experience
in a surf park or artificial wave environment is a strong plus |
Professional Skills&Attributes | ü Ability to
adapt teaching style to all ages and abilities, including complete beginners
and adaptive surfers ü Team player
with great people skills, with a proactive attitude and ability to
motivate and inspire guests ü Must have tact
and discretion in dealing both with visitors and colleagues |
Personal Qualities | ü A strong
desire to get people active and improve accessibility and inclusivity
for all ü Committed to
working early mornings, later nights, weekends and holidays
as required when the site is at its busiest ü Fluent English is required (B2 minimum), Arabic a plus (highly
desirable) ü Physically
fit, safety-conscious, and able to stay focused in a dynamic environment |
