Electrical Assembler
About this role
The Electrical Assembler will collaborate with team members to assemble and integrate 12 VDC control systems, while playing an important role in both shop-based and on-site activities. This position is responsible for assembling control system components, wiring harnesses, and electronic devices, as well as programming equipment and interfacing our systems with a variety of heavy truck applications.

RESPONSIBILITES
What You'll Be Doing:
- Works from schematics and job instructions.
- Constructs electrical control panels.
- Pre-assembles and finishes wiring of control systems.
- Installs electrical control circuits for motors and control devices for various electrical devices.
- Ensures accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.
- Use of specific wire cutting/stripping/crimping equipment
- Test completed equipment for proper performance.
- Adaptability to changing tasks due to continuous improvements and updates
- Clean. Lubricate and perform other maintenance work
- Other assigned work as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
What You'll Need For Success:
- Education: High school diploma, GED.
- 1 years’ experience with automotive electrical preferred.
- Knowledge of basic 12 VDC Electrical systems, tools and crimping techniques.
- A strong background in Automotive 12V systems is preferred.
- LEAN manufacturing experience preferred.
- Able to assemble Electrical Components from drawings and work instructions.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
