Lead Deployment Strategist
About this role
We are looking for a Lead Deployment Strategist with 8+ years of experience in client-facing strategic roles to own enterprise client engagements and grow accounts from $200K to multi-million dollar relationships. You'll be the first person in this role at a fast-growing, AI-native startup backed by Y Combinator and Google's AI fund, working directly with Fortune 500 companies like Rocket Mortgage, Hertz, and Experian.
What will you be doing?
Own a portfolio of enterprise clients end-to-end — taking accounts from ~$200K to $2M+ through strategic expansion and deeper deployments
Fly out to client sites (~1x/month), build executive relationships, and run QBRs with senior leadership at Fortune 500 companies
Understand each client's people, process, and technology to identify 10+ expansion opportunities and prioritize the path from pilot to full deployment
Build business cases, Excel models, and presentations to drive pilot-to-contract conversions and new use case adoption
Lead a small squad (TAM + product manager) and help more junior team members think through client strategy and deliverables
Key Requirements
8+ years of experience with a strong foundation in strategy consulting (MBB, Deloitte Strategy, EY-Parthenon, Oliver Wyman preferred) — must have actually led client engagements
Proven track record of leading complex enterprise engagements for Fortune 500 companies from point A to Z — not just supporting, but owning outcomes
Hands-on IC mindset — this is not a pure people-management role; you'll own client growth directly
Comfortable with technical concepts (APIs, integrations, software architectures) and able to build Excel models and compelling presentations
Must be based in NYC (4 days/week in Flatiron/NoMad) or Atlanta (3 days/week in-office) and willing to travel to client sites ~once per month
