What You’ll Do
- Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and schedule appointments
- Assist patients in person, by phone, and virtually with questions and general support
- Manage incoming referrals and prepare patient files
- Maintain accurate documentation and update electronic medical records
- Coordinate insurance coverage, pre-authorizations, and claim submissions
- Process payments, create invoices, and support inventory management
- Support clinicians with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Maintain clinic organization and professional presentation
- Schedule equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
- Previous experience in customer service, administration, reception, or a patient-facing role is an asset
- Friendly, professional, and confident when interacting with patients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Comfortable picking up new software and computer systems
- Experience with EMR systems or in healthcare is an asset – but not required
