Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing digital document workflows within our Document Management Systems (DMS)

  • Maintaining project documentation, registers, revisions and approval workflows

  • Ensuring documentation complies with internal quality standards, project requirements and industry best practice

  • Managing document transmittals and coordinating information exchange between project teams, contractors and suppliers

  • Conducting document audits and quality checks to ensure data integrity and compliance

  • Supporting project handover and final file compilation activities

  • Assisting with system improvements, document control procedures and user support across projects

  • Working closely with engineering, construction, procurement and project delivery teams to ensure accurate and timely document management

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who understands the importance of document control within a complex engineering and construction environment, where the accurate management, governance and flow of project information is critical to successful project delivery.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a Document Controller position within an engineering, construction, utilities or infrastructure environment

  • An HND (or equivalent qualification) in Document Control, although applicants with strong practical document control experience will also be considered

  • Experience working with Document Management Systems and document control procedures

  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to information management

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience using Autodesk Forma, ProjectWise or SharePoint

  • Experience supporting large-scale construction, utilities or infrastructure projects

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems

  • Knowledge of ISO 19650 / BIM information management principles

  • Experience supporting project handover and final file completion processes
