About this role
The Packager will apply strong fundamentals of Packaging in the Medical Industry to ensure that the
customer demands are met in a timely fashion.
What You’ll Do:
- Verify part count, laser etch #, label and packaging specifications on incoming orders prior to packaging
- Prep jobs using correct packaging spec
- Clean and package parts for shipment
- Satisfactorily run an impulse and heat sealing machine
- Ensure that all paperwork is correct and that all counts are accurate prior to clocking off job
- Daily and monthly cleaning of the packaging area
- Maintain standard sanitary procedures while working in the packaging area
- Cross train in shipping/receiving
- Train as the backup of creating labels for orders with Packaging Lead
- Drive company vehicle to make deliveries as needed
- Comply with all policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able read and count in order to do the paperwork necessary
- Good math and computer skills
- Self-starter and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to work overtime as needed. This could occur at either end of the shift or on weekends
- Previous experience with Job Boss, Bar Tender, Microsoft Office Suite are a plus
