In this role you will be responsible for leading the investigation, containment, and resolution of complex quality issues affecting customers and manufacturing operations. As a key member of the Problem Solving Team, you will facilitate structured problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to identify, eliminate, and prevent recurring issues.

You will collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Quality, and Supplier Quality teams to drive sustainable improvements, enhance product quality, reduce customer complaints, and strengthen overall plant performance. This role plays a critical part in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

        Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

  • Lead cross-functional problem-solving activities for customer complaints and critical internal quality issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

  • Facilitate 8D investigations and root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies and quality tools.

  • Develop, implement, and validate corrective and preventive actions to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence.

  • Coordinate containment activities and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Quality, and Supplier Quality teams to protect customers and maintain production continuity.

  • Analyze quality data, trends, customer feedback, and production performance to drive continuous improvement, promote best practices, and enhance overall plant quality performance.

     If you have/are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Proven experience leading structured problem-solving initiatives, including 8D methodology, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive action implementation.

  • Strong engineering and manufacturing background, preferably within an automotive or quality-focused production environment.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience, with demonstrated ability to drive sustainable process improvements.

  • Knowledge of quality management systems and auditing practices, including IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001; Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 17025, and/or TISAX requirements.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and cross-functional leadership skills.

  • Flexibility to support off-shift operations and respond to urgent customer requirements when needed.
