About this role
Operational Indirect Buyer
The buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers and equipment, spare parts and services related to distribution and conditioning systems, material handling and storage equipment, sprinkler networks, environmental management, rejection treatment, and material recycling, this role ensures cost effectiveness, cost optimization strategies, support capital and maintenance projects, and implementing sustainable sourcing practices across assigned categories.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for the respective categories
- Manage procurement of equipment, spares and maintenance services
• Lead RFQ´s, supplier negotiations, contract management, and commercial evaluations
• Analyze spend, market trends and supplier capabilities to identify cost saving opportunities
• Partner with maintenance teams to evaluate technical specifications and supplier proposals
• Support capex projects
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, environmental regulations and applicable industry standards
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while maintaining business continuity
• Utilize ERP and procurement systems to support planning, purchasing, reporting and performance management
What is required:
- BS or BA in Purchasing, SCM, Engineering or another business-related field
- Advanced English skills
- 6+ Years Of Experience in a Purchasing role, Plant maintenance operations, engineering.
- Willingness to travel
