Our Receptionists enjoy a variety of “Patient-centric” activities including:
- Greeting and checking in our amazing patients with a winner’s attitude & smile
- Capture insurance, key in information, scanning documents and collecting co-pays
- Frequent communication with our internal clinical and insurance/billing staff
- Highlight your warm demeanor and personality while engaging with both our patients and team members
Successful Future Team Members will:
- Enjoy multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and efficient use of multiple computer systems to text, email, and input information into practice systems, browsers, and scanners
- Open to learn new software for quick & accurate keyboarding and data entry
- Always willing to learn while on the job, mastering medical terminology & practice software
- Be committed, ready to go on time every day, making a difference for our patients
- Valid Texas Driver’s license with an unrestricted and clear driving record. Will need to provide proof of personal vehicle insurance
- Bilingual in Spanish is required at specific locations
- Strong interpersonal skills such as effective listening, clear communication, effective customer problem resolution, with a warm and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships in a rewarding, high-paced, and sometimes high-stress environment
- Staff will drive or ride in company vehicles to select satellite clinics for day clinics and are paid for travel time
Additional Details
- Schedules assigned by supervisor on a monthly basis
- This position does require travel
- Hourly pay, FLSA non-exempt, eligible for overtime
- Pay range: $18- $22 per hour, depending on level of experience and references
Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, and walking for up to 4-6 hours a day; talk and hear both in person and by telephone, speaking loudly for patients in need; use hands to finger, handle and feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to twenty-five pounds on occasion. Specific vision abilities required by this job include viewing multiple computer screens, close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Viewing images and operating computer devices constantly.
