What You’ll Do
As an Ophthalmic Technician, you’ll become a vital part of our “Saving Sight Squad.” You’ll work directly with patients, physicians, and our care team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Gathering patient histories and inputting medical data
- Taking diagnostic images and preparing patients for exams
- Performing vision tests and assisting with in-office treatments
- Daily paid travel to support our satellite clinics
- Educating and comforting patients throughout their visit

Who We’re Looking For
This opportunity is perfect for caring, motivated individuals who are:
- Compassionate and professional with excellent communication skills

- Responsible and reliable, with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable using computers and learning medical data systems
- Hold a valid Texas driver’s license with a clean 3-year record
- Willing to travel to day clinics (yes, we pay you for that time)
- Bilingual in Spanish? That’s a bonus!

Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on role. You’ll need to be able to:
- Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
- Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
- Perform tasks that require fine motor skills including stoop, kneel, bend and crouch
- Specific vision abilities required for this role includes viewing multiple computer screens, close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus and good vision
