Founding Account Manager

Augustus is hiring a Founding Account Manager to build and lead the Account Management function for our US bank customers, drive successful go-lives, and directly impact live revenue as the company's first hire in this role. You will own onboarding, customer success, and the playbook for scaling upsells and product launches while working closely with product, operations, and compliance.

What youll do

• Build and scale Augustus's Account Management function, defining processes, KPIs, and success criteria.
• Lead customer onboarding and integrations after contract signature, coordinating product, operations, and compliance.
• Own day-to-day customer relationships to ramp revenue, surface product feedback, and prevent churn.
• Design and run upsell strategies and coordinate new product launches with cross-functional teams.
• Project manage complex stakeholder scenarios, including CEOs, founders, and shareholders.
• Establish reliable processes and automation to minimize manual work and increase repeatability.
• Feed customer insights into the product roadmap to shape prioritization and enhancements.
• Report to the Head of Growth and partner closely with commercial and engineering teams.

What Augustus is looking for

• Experience as a Consultant or Chief of Staff / Finance Associate (CoS/FA) at a fast-paced startup.
• Proven, genuine interest in go-to-market (GTM) functions and commercial operations.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills across senior audiences.
• Systems-first mentality with a bias for automation and scalable processes.
• Comfortable making decisions under pressure and maintaining high standards of quality.
• Based in NYC or Berlin, or willing to relocate, and comfortable traveling globally (US, Europe, APAC, LATAM).
