We are looking for an Okta consultant with at least 2 years of hands-on Okta experience, focused mainly on advisory and consultancy rather than routine ticket handling.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Assess customer IAM requirements and existing Okta environments.
  • Design and advise on SSO, federation, MFA, lifecycle management and application integrations.
  • Support discovery workshops, technical discussions, solution design and implementation planning.
  • Identify risks, gaps, dependencies and improvement opportunities proactively.
  • Prepare technical recommendations, documentation, scope assumptions and effort estimates.
  • Work with customers, architects, application owners, security and service teams.

 

Required knowledge:

 

  • Strong practical knowledge of OIDC, SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, SCIM, SSO, MFA, authentication and authorization.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications with Okta.
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot authentication and federation flows.
  • Strong customer communication, ownership and advisory skills.

 

The role requires a proactive, solution-oriented person who can work independently, challenge unclear requirements and guide customers toward secure and practical Okta solutions.
