Quality Control Specialist
About this role

Perform in-process line checks and final quality inspections, including:
-
Board and core density measurements
-
Compressive strength testing
-
Dimensional stability evaluations
-
K-value (R-value) verification
-
Accurately record and maintain quality data and inspection results in PeopleSoft
-
Support troubleshooting of production issues, including overpack conditions, temperature deviations, and incorrect material mix ratios
-
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to resolve quality-related issues
-
Assist with internal and external inspections and audits, including UL, FM, PIMA, ICC-ES, and other regulatory or customer-required audits

Ensure compliance with company quality standards, ISO procedures, and applicable industry requirements

Perform additional duties as assigned to support plant quality objectives
- Consistent and regular attendance is a must

Minimum two (2) years of experience in quality control, quality compliance, or inspection within a manufacturing environment (foam, insulation, or chemical manufacturing preferred)

Familiarity with laboratory testing methods and quality documentation

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production setting

Proficient in data entry and quality reporting systems (PeopleSoft experience an asset)

Effective communication and teamwork skills
