Industrial Maintenance Technician
About this role
Atlas Roof & Wall Insulation is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the Vancouver, BC. manufacturing facility.
Monday through Friday operation with overtime potential

Key Responsibilities
- Familiar with basic hand tools for Fabrication and installation
- Able install and rebuild process pumps, Small piston and Diaghram pumps
- Perform Preventative maintenance on machinery as per instructions
- Document work completed in CMMS (emaint)
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and low voltage electrical issues
- Understand Hydraulics, Pneumatics schematics
- Familiar with measuring devices such as Flow meters, Pressure sensors, encoders
- Repair conveyors and packaging equipment
- Clean, lubricate, and replace defective parts on machinery
- Able to use rigging equipment for servicing of machinery
- Must be willing to obtain Forklift, fall protection and Arial Boom lift ticket
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing
- Offer process improvements
- Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing
- Able to troubleshoot and diagnose low voltage and analog circuits
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC’s
- Competent in mechanical troubleshooting
- Experience Completing task alone and in a group.
- Able to order and keep parts inventory and use local and distant Vendors
- Experience troubleshooting instrumentation for pumps and metering equipment
Education: One of the following is preferred: Red Seal Industrial Electrician, Red Seal Millwright, Bachelor in Electro\mechanical, Mechatronics or equivalent degrees.
Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly convey information to personnel from various functional areas.
Physical Abilities:
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and working in various conditions.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be able to work minimum 8 hour shift. Overtime is mandatory based on business needs.
- The job requires regular standing, walking, and handling of tools and controls. Occasional heavy lifting up to 100 lbs. is required. Sitting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
