Salary: $74,000 – $85,000

We are seeking a hands-on Materials / Shipping Supervisor to lead yard operations and ensure the safe, efficient flow of materials and rental bridge inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day yard operations, including storage, staging, organization, and material flow
• Supervise and coordinate yard employees across shipping, receiving, picking, and packing activities
• Maintain inventory accuracy through ERP transactions, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and logistics to ensure timely and accurate material flow
• Manage the day-to-day operation of the bridge rental program, including shipping, returns, inspections, and inventory readiness
• Ensure returned materials are inspected, restocked, or flagged for repair
• Maintain yard organization, equipment readiness, and material handling standards
• Promote safe work practices and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Required:

• 3–5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, materials management, logistics, or yard operations
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a hands-on environment
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and material flow processes
• Experience with ERP or inventory systems
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, yard-based environment
