About this role

Typical Accountabilities
- Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations.
- Engage Rare Diseases healthcare professionals in dialogue about approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
- Work with Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in territory.
- Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory.
- Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.

Qualifications and Skills
Essential: Bachelor’s degree; Significant experience in pharmaceutical sales and/or relevant healthcare roles; Proven success in complex cross‑functional environments with demonstrated leadership and change enablement; Strong scientific acumen and expert clinical credibility; Ability to influence as a trusted advisor and shape strategy in Rare Diseases; Open to feedforward and actively seeks insights for growth and development; Strong understanding of access, reimbursement, and distribution challenges; Advanced strategic planning, analytics, and execution across complex healthcare ecosystems; Stakeholder navigation and mentoring capability.
Desirable: Experience launching new products and shaping regional strategies in Rare Diseases; Demonstrated mastery delivering a total office call; Multiple years of account planning and/or complex reimbursement experience; Effective leadership, organization, and communication skills; Sound judgment and decision‑making; Results‑oriented with strong time management; Ability to learn, analyze, synthesize, and convey complex information; Experience contributing to transformative commercial initiatives.
