The Opportunity

We’re looking for a delivery-focused PMO Lead to drive a critical internal transformation, building a data-driven portfolio governance capability across the organisation.

Acting as a project lead, you will design and implement how delivery data is defined, captured, and used, moving the business from manual, subjective reporting to integrated, evidence-based insights. You’ll work across finance, HR, and delivery systems to create a single, consistent view of portfolio performance.

This is a hands-on role requiring a strong understanding of governance and delivery, combined with the ability to translate business needs into practical frameworks, data models, and reporting solutions. You'll also lead stakeholder engagement and drive adoption across the organisation.

Ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building capability from the ground up, this role offers the chance to shape how delivery is governed at scale.

How will you make an impact?

  • Lead the transformation to a data-driven portfolio governance model, reducing reliance on manual reporting

  • Design and implement a standardised governance framework, including data models, definitions, and processes

  • Create a single, integrated view of delivery data across systems (finance, HR, delivery tools)

  • Enable better decision-making through meaningful metrics, leading indicators, and portfolio insights

  • Partner with data specialists to deliver practical, scalable reporting and analytics solutions

  • Drive the end-to-end delivery of the governance uplift, from design through to rollout and adoption

  • Engage stakeholders across the business to ensure solutions are aligned, adopted, and sustainable

  • Build capability that enables strategic planning, prioritisation, and investment decisions

  • Act as a hands-on change leader, embedding new ways of working across the organisation

About you

  • Strong background in PMO, governance, or delivery roles, with experience improving frameworks or ways of working

  • Deep understanding of delivery governance artefacts (e.g. risks, issues, milestones, financials, change)

  • Highly hands-on and proactive, with the ability to lead and deliver outcomes end-to-end

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design practical, fit-for-purpose solutions

  • Experience working across business, delivery, and technical teams

  • Ability to translate business needs into data models, frameworks, and reporting approaches

  • Confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders to drive alignment and adoption

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building capability from the ground up

  • Passion for improving how organisations use data to drive better delivery outcomes
