Job Summary

The Front Desk Associate serves as the first point of contact for residents, guests, vendors, and prospective residents within the community. This role provides exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming, professional, and resident-focused environment. The Front Desk Associate supports daily community operations by assisting residents with inquiries, coordinating communications, managing visitor access, and providing administrative support to the management team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist residents, guests, vendors, and prospective residents.
  • Serve as a front desk contact for resident questions, concerns, and requests.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls and emails.
  • Maintain resident records and community databases.
  • Assist residents with amenity reservations, event registrations, and community information.
  • Monitor visitor and vendor access procedures.
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Support community events and activities.
  • Coordinate with management staff to address resident concerns.
  • Maintain front desk supplies and materials.
  • Perform document preparation, filing, scanning, and copying.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum one year of customer service, reception, hospitality, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience in residential communities, property management, senior living, or hospitality preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Typical office and community environment.
  • Frequent interaction with residents, guests, vendors, and staff.
  • May require standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Primarily weekend support or some evenings
