TEMPORARY POSITION

 

Job Summary 

Duties include supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment; operate machinery, record inspected products, load and unload materials, count and determine completion of orders. 

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

 
  • Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.2% 

  • Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.10% 

  • Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators of any malfunctions.2% 

  • Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists. 15% 

  • Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.5% 

  • Mark or tag identification on parts.2% 

  • Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.50% 

  • Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, cleaning work areas and equipment, and cleaning of doors and frame components.2% 

  • Clean and lubricate equipment.2% 

  • Record information such as the number of products inspected, and dates and times of product production.5% 

  • Other assigned tasks at direction of Supervision.5% 

 

Education and Experience Profile 

  • High school diploma or GED certificate and/or industrial experience. 

  • These occupations often involve using your knowledge and skills to help others  

 

Required Skills 

  •  Mechanical ability. 
  • Reading various dimensional mythology instruments. 

  • Production & Processing: knowledge or ray materials, production processes, and quality control. 

 

Tools and Technology: 

  • Forklifts 

  • Hammers - Claw hammers 

  • Hoists - Power hoists 

  • Jacks - Hand jacks; Pipe jacks 

  • Ladders - Platform ladders 

  • Screwdrivers - Phillips head screwdrivers; Straight screwdrivers 

  • Slings - Material-hoisting slings 

  • Tape measures - Measuring tapes 

  • Variety of hand tools, measuring instruments, power tools such as saws 

  •  Mechanical machines 
  • Paint systems 

  • Assembly operations
