RN - Registered Nurse
About this role
If you are a highly motivated Registered Nurse with a passion for fertility and women's health, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at AFCC - Gurnee, IL.
HOURS: Full-time Monday - Friday with rotating shifts between 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. (start/end times will vary). Weekend rotation expectation is 1-2 weekends per month.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical back-office flow of patients
- Rooming patients and assisting the physician with exams and procedures
- Triaging phone calls and voice mail
- Performing intrauterine insemination procedures
- Following nursing protocols for procedures and advice
- Providing patient education and counseling as required
Education/Experience:
- Valid Illinois nursing license and BLS (AHA or Red Cross) is required.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills a must.
- RN with women’s health or Infertility background highly desired but willing to train enthusiastic, highly motivated RN.
