Senior SAP PS Consultant
About this role
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to project planning, execution, and cost management.
- Design, configure, and implement SAP Project System (PS) solutions.
- Work closely with business users to optimize project lifecycle management processes.
- Configure and support:
- Project Structures (WBS Elements)
- Networks and Activities
- Milestones
- Project Planning and Scheduling
- Budgeting and Cost Planning
- Settlement Rules
- Results Analysis
- Integrate SAP PS with other SAP modules such as:
- SAP FI/CO
- SAP MM
- SAP SD
- SAP PM
- SAP PP
- Perform system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.
- Coordinate with technical teams for custom developments and issue resolution.
- Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot production issues.
- Conduct user training sessions and prepare functional documentation.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and project delivery standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Project System (PS).
- Strong experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation.
- Expertise in:
- Project Structuring (WBS)
- Network Planning
- Budgeting and Cost Control
- Resource Planning
- Project Settlement
- Project Reporting
- Strong understanding of integration between SAP PS and FI/CO, MM, SD, PM, and PP.
- Experience in business process analysis and solution design.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Project System is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications related to Project System is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
