Front-end Developer
About this role
We're hiring a mid-level Frontend Developer on a contract basis to build and maintain the mobile frontend of a consumer-facing (B2C) app using Flutter. The role is primarily mobile-focused, but the developer should be available to extend work to web frontend when needed — ideally using Flutter Web, so the same codebase and skillset carry over with minimal context-switching.

Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers in an on-site/hybrid team setting.
Maintain version control discipline (Git) and follow agreed branching/PR workflows.

2–4 years of hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart, with at least one shipped consumer-facing mobile app.
Solid understanding of Flutter widget lifecycle, layout system, and responsive design principles.
Experience with state management (Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or GetX).
Experience consuming REST APIs; comfortable handling async data, error states, and loading states.
Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Basic understanding of native build/release processes for Android (or willingness to learn).

Prior experience with Flutter Web specifically (responsive web layouts, web-specific navigation/routing considerations).
Experience with CI/CD for mobile (Codemagic, Fastlane, GitHub Actions, etc.).
Familiarity with native modules/platform channels.
UI/UX sensibility — comfortable making small design judgment calls without constant designer input.
Experience with analytics/crash reporting tools (Firebase, Sentry, etc.).
Soft Skills
Comfortable working on-site/hybrid with frequent in-person collaboration.
Able to work independently within a contract scope while staying aligned with the core team.
Clear communicator — comfortable flagging blockers, estimating timelines, and surfacing tradeoffs.
Deliverables / Success Criteria
Functional, tested UI features delivered against sprint/milestone scope.
Code that passes review and follows the team's established patterns.
* Ability to pick up web frontend tasks (Flutter Web) without requiring a second specialist, when needed.
