Transportation Administrator
About this role
The Transportation Administrator supports the daily operations of Ashley’s Final Mile delivery network by ensuring accurate scheduling, compliance, and documentation for all transportation activities. This role acts as a key liaison between drivers, dispatch, and management to maintain service excellence and operational efficiency.
Key duties:
- Route & Schedule Coordination: Assist with planning and assigning delivery routes to ensure timely service.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate DOT records, driver logs, and vehicle inspection reports.
- Communication Hub: Act as the main contact for drivers and dispatch, resolving delivery issues promptly.
- Reporting: Generate and distribute transportation performance and cost reports.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage billing paperwork, fuel card tracking, and other operational documentation.
- Safety Support: Help implement safety programs and monitor adherence to FMCSA and company standards.
