We are seeking a highly motivated, hardworking individual to join our team as an Outside Sales and Service Territory Manager. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable working independently and has a passion for sales. Experience with any conveyors, material handling industries or power transmission products is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and increasing sales and market share with customers in the New England Territory
- Maintain and build relationships with customers by solving problems and creating value for our customers
- Educate and train all customers on the features and benefits of ASGCO products and services
- Ensure technical service requirements for the customers are met
- Generate new business with new or existing customers
- Create materials for and conduct sales presentations to customers
- Work with local customers to identify, quote, engineer and close product and service solutions
- Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customers concerns
- Support and grow our sales of all our products including; ASGCO conveyor products, conveyor belt, pulleys, idlers, engineered, fabricated, turnkey projects
- Look to improve our current products and look for new products for us to promote and improve upon
- Be a SAFE and motivated Leader and TEAM player
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership abilities
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, organized, detailed and focused
- Computer skills including spreadsheet applications and Microsoft Office Suite
- Conveyor manufacturing industry sales experience preferred
- 3-7 years outside sales experience preferred in manufacturing
