Job Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial facilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with HVAC systems
- Perform routine preventative maintenance according to service schedules
- Work with building automation systems (BAS) and controls
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Provide detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed
- Communicate with clients to explain findings, recommend solutions, and provide estimates
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition
- Respond to emergency service requests as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred
- EPA Section 608 Certification required
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Must be able to pass an MVR check).
- Proficient in troubleshooting HVAC components, including compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and refrigeration cycles
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various environments, including rooftops and confined spaces
