The Cashier records and processes transactions, receives callers, determines the nature of business and directs callers. Sets appointments, closes, organizes, and files Repair Orders and makes outbound calls.

  • Receives monies and keeps accurate accounts of records.
  • Uses documents such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, check stubs, and computer printouts to verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions in appropriate ledgers or computer files.
  • Treats customers with respect.  Acts in ways to promote customer retention through efficiency, good communication and work organization. Has a pleasant, friendly demeanor.
  • Compiles reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business.
  • Runs reports; balance receipts against deposit report.
  • Batches out credit card machines.
  • Answers inbound phone calls and distributes calls to appropriate associates via transfer of calls and/or taking thorough messages and delivering.
  • If assigned, sets and records service appointments.
  • If assigned, makes outbound calls for Service reminder/ non responder list.
  • If assigned, makes outbound calls for service due lists.
  • If assigned, makes outbound service reminder calls within 24 hours prior to appointment from the appointment log.
  • If assigned, makes outbound calls for special order parts.
  • If assigned, makes outbound calls for miscellaneous marketing campaign lists.
  • Identifies “no-shows” and makes appropriate notation in DMS.
  • Closes customer Repair Orders.
  • Assembles Repair Orders in sequence and files.
  • Pulls files when requested.
  • Copy and fax/scan documents as necessary.
  • If assigned, coordinates courtesy van drivers to ensure timely drop-offs and pick- ups for customers.
  • Verifies that all Repair Orders have email addresses.
  • Greets walk in customers and determines the nature of their visit.
  • Assists the service advisors/consultants by explaining all parts of the repair order to the customers and communicating any customer questions or concerns to the appropriate service personnel.
  • Assists with clerical duties as requested and any other duties assigned.
  • Assists Customer Relations Manager in resolving complaints and all correspondence with customers.
  • Completes records to ensure accuracy.
