About this role
Qualifications:
- Diploma in civil engineering, drafting, or CAD / BIM technology
- Minimum 8 years of drafting experience
Technical skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and GIS tools
Preferred experience:
- Experience working on hydropower / dam projects
- Exposure to design consultancy environments
- Knowledge of geotechnical and hydraulic design interfaces
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards.
- Create and manage 3D surface models.
- Build alignments (horizontal & vertical) and profiles.
- Import and process survey data.
- Perform surface analysis.
- Prepare earthwork reports and volume calculations.
- Optimize grading for cost and efficiency.
- Maintain consistent sheet layouts, title blocks, and scales.
- Resolve design conflicts through model coordination.
- Support value engineering initiatives.
