Human Resources announces a 1.0 FTE School Registrar, G-10, 260 day, vacancy at Innovation Elementary School.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Performs specialized technical and analytical duties required to enroll, withdraw, and transfer students
and to maintain a variety of complex student records at the elementary school level.

SUPERVISION
Work is performed under general supervision of the Principal/Assistant Principal.

However, work is usually performed independently. Incumbents may, as required, give assignments to,
advise and check the work of lower level administrative support staff, temporary clerical staff, and
student assistants.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

 

Good knowledge of computer technology utilizations

 

Ability to meet deadlines on time for required reporting purposes

 

Ability to accurately maintain complex data files and to prepare reports from files and records.

 

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, support staff, students, and families.

 

Ability to perform work independently and accurately under deadlines.

 

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

 

Knowledge of enrollment and residency procedures.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE CLASS (May not include all duties performed; not all incumbents perform all essential functions delineated.)

 

Performs a wide variety of registration and student information processing tasks

Creates a positive and welcoming experience for families and students new to APS as part of the student registration process.

 

Operates a variety of computer applications and enters information on each student, from registration to graduation, including class assignments, schedule changes, transfer grade histories, and other student information.

 

Maintain student academic records in compliance with state and federal requirements.

Enters, maintains and retrieves information from the student information system. 

 

Performs responsible administrative support tasks as required or assigned.


SALARY

Salary will be based on the FY 2026-27 salary schedule.
