Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Community Habilitation in the Liverpool area to a very independent man who has an intellectual and physical disability. He is looking for a dedicated person to assist him with working on his goals, both at home and in community settings and to provide transportation, as needed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting him to pursue his hobbies and interests, supporting his safety awareness and social skills and assisting him with his general independence.

We are looking for individuals who are dependable, patient and enthusiastic. Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities a plus. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire.

Hours: Saturday and Sunday (approximately 10 hours per week)

Flexible schedule to be agreed upon with the individual.

Pay rate: $19.50 per hour

Qualifications
Must have a valid drivers license
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
