Job DetailsJob Location: Baldwinsville - NYPosition Type: Per DiemEducation Level: NoneSalary Range: $25.00 - $25.00 HourlyIndera, formerly known as ARISE/EFR is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a bright and active young man with a developmental disability in Baldwinsville NY. He and his family are looking for a Mentor to assist him with working on making community connections and friendships, personal care tasks and participating in community activities. He enjoys visiting local parks and playgrounds, the mall, and eating out at McDonalds. He loves using the swings, reading stories, watching movies, and listening to music. He needs an energetic DSP who can help him navigate the community.

Seeking a DSP who is reliable, enthusiastic, creative, and active and willing to provide some personal care. Related experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

Hours and Days of work

Monday-Friday: Before/after school and evenings. Schedule and times vary week to week.

Saturday and Sunday: Occasional weekend days of 3-4 hours per day with flexible times based on activities planned.

Payrate

Starting at $25.00 per hour. EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Location: Baldwinsville, NY

Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
Qualifications
Must have a valid drivers license
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
