Job DetailsJob Location: North Syracuse - North Syracuse, NY 13212Position Type: Per DiemEducation Level: NoneSalary Range: $22.50 - $22.50 HourlyIndera (formerly ARISE/EFR) is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Respite services in the North Syracuse area. He and his family are looking for dedicated individuals to provide respite services and at times engage in activities with him including visiting the YMCA, Zoo, Get Air and the MOST as well as outdoor activities and Karate and cooking classes.

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, and respectful. Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities a plus. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.

The current pay rate is $22.50/hour plus reimbursements for mileage and Staff Activity fees.
Qualifications
Must have a valid drivers license
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
