1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Camillus/Syracuse, NY (CA – EE)

A 20-year-old female in the Camillus/Syracuse area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist her with money management, completing transactions, personal hygiene, and positive communication. She enjoys playing on the playground, swimming, and dancing. She enjoys going to the MOST, McDonalds, the library, the mall, and the movies. She is open to trying most things and has a “go with the flow” attitude. The ideal candidate is patient, creative, engaging, active, and willing to travel to different locations. The ideal candidate must also be willing to provide personal care when needed.

This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.

Hours and days of work: 3-4 hours per week, 4:00pm-8:00pm on Fridays

Starting pay: Starting pay is $19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.

Qualifications
Must have a valid drivers license
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
